Cups to grams by ingredient
A cup of flour and a cup of sugar weigh different amounts, so pick the ingredient first. Every value shows where it comes from. If your recipe gives weights, use those instead.

About these values
Gram values come from USDA FoodData Central (SR Legacy, public domain), checked 2026-11-03. Where King Arthur Baking's ingredient weight chart gives a different figure, both are shown, because published values disagree and the way you fill a cup changes the weight. Metric-cup and Australian-spoon values are calculated from the US-cup value by volume, not measured separately.
Converting units is not a substitution: it doesn't make one ingredient replace another, and it is not an allergy check. Need to resize the recipe too? Use the recipe scaler.
