What the tools do
The tools perform arithmetic on the amounts you enter and convert between units using the published values described on the methodology page. Results are estimates where an ingredient weight is involved, and rounded where marked "≈".
What the tools don't do
- A resized recipe has not been tested. Baking time, temperature, pan size, mixing and leavening may need adjusting.
- Converting a unit is not an ingredient substitution.
- Nothing on the site is food safety, allergy, nutrition or medical advice.
Please check results that matter to you, especially for large batches, and use your own judgement in the kitchen.
No warranty
The site is provided free and "as is". We work to keep it accurate, but we don't guarantee that it is error-free or always available. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for losses arising from use of the site, including failed bakes or wasted ingredients.

The site's text, design and code belong to ScaleMyBake unless stated otherwise. Ingredient weights come from USDA FoodData Central, which is in the public domain. You may print results and guides for your own use and link to any page. Please don't copy the guides or tools to another site.
Recipes you save or share
Saved recipes, share links and card images are made on your device from what you type. You are responsible for what you share, including having the right to share a recipe written by someone else.
Acceptable use
Don't use automated tools to overload the site or interfere with how it works.

Links to other websites are provided for reference. We aren't responsible for their content.
